NEW CHURCH PLANTS

Planting healthy, reproducing churches is a strategic part of our goal to reach Indiana. New churches grow faster than older, established churches. Regardless of size, a church that is under three years old reaches about ten new members for every 100 existing members. Churches older than 15 years reach only three new members for every 100 members.

Less and less people are attending church and must be reached. As Paul stated, “…I have made myself a slave to all, in order to win more people. … I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:19-22).

Your gifts to the state missions offering helps church planters in our state reach those who would otherwise remain unreached. You help provide various contexts and platforms to proclaim the timeless truth of Jesus Christ as Lord.

HIGHLAND LAKES BAPTIST CAMP

Highland Lakes Baptist Camp endeavors to provide an atmosphere that facilitates opportunities for individuals to come to know Christ and experience spiritual growth through immersion and interaction with God’s creation paired with a peaceful environment which accommodates personal reflection. This purpose is being achieved as each year decisions are made at camp to either receive salvation, rededicate lives or answer the call to ministry and missions.

Your offering helps to pay for necessary campground facilities and their maintenance. It also helps provide scholarships to campers who might not otherwise be able to attend camps.

BAPTIST COLLEGIATE MINISTRIES

Over 335,000 students attend Indiana’s 60 colleges and universities. As they attend to academically “search for light and truth,” our Baptist Collegiate Ministries proclaim the presence of Jesus, who is the Light and Truth.

Striving to glorify God and spread His love through relationships and service, Baptist Collegiate Ministries encounter culture with the relevance and transformation found in Christ.

There are currently ten Baptist Collegiate Evangelists in Indiana ministering on 25 campuses. Your gifts to the state mission offering help to provide for outreach ministries as well as discipleship for Christian students.
