Comparison: The Thief of Joy

Do you struggle to feel like you are enough? Research shows that more than 10% of our daily thoughts involve making a comparison of some kind. Through Scripture, we will learn to replace self-sabotaging thoughts with confidence in Christ, knowing Jesus has given us all we need. He is faithful to continue to equip us to do the work to which He has called us. As we renew our minds, we can discover the leadership ability to achieve love, unity, and mutual building up as Paul challenges us to look strikingly different from the world as we “consider others as more important than [ourselves]”
(Phil 2:3).

Social Media: For Love or Leverage?

Part of being designed in God’s image is living in community with one another. In fact, we crave this community. The world of social media has sought to fill this void for us-especially in “unconnected” times like these. But sadly, the war between flesh and Spirit often wreaks havoc on how we seek out connection. So…are we using our internet community as a loving, life-giving fellowship OR as leverage for our own selfish gain?
