Disaster Relief

Indiana Baptist Disaster Relief (IBDR) mobilizes more than 500 trained volunteers as part of the Southern Baptist Convention’s disaster response network.

When disasters strike, IBDR teams provide chainsaw and flood recovery, hot meals, shower and laundry services, chaplaincy care, roof tarping, damage assessment, and incident command support. Volunteers also serve through mission efforts in Western Europe.

Recognizable by their yellow shirts, IBDR volunteers bring practical help, compassionate care, and hope to people facing some of life’s most difficult moments.
