He played football for North Carolina State University until an ACL injury led to a transformative encounter with faith. JJ entered ministry after earning a B.A. in Communications, serving as a youth and children’s pastor, and playing a pivotal role in church planting. He later joined the Georgia Baptist Mission Board as an Evangelism Catalyst and became the National Director of Personal Evangelism at the North American Mission Board in 2022. JJ holds advanced degrees in Leadership, Divinity, and Ministry and has been married to Tamara for 20 years, with two children.

Greg Byman

Their heart is for individuals and the church to experience a mighty move of God in revival and spiritual awakening.
