DESCRIPTION

DR 101 and Volunteer Training July 15th– (has a separate registration)
Join us for Disaster Relief Training at New Life Baptist Church in Greencastle on July 15th. This training will be from 8 AM – 3:00 PM with lunch included. This training will include specialized classes in chainsaw, flood recovery, feeding with the quick response unit (QRU), and shower and laundry. It will also include training in DR 101 which is required for all new volunteers.

*If you have already completed DR 101, additional training is at no cost during your badge validation period.

Chaplaincy Training– July 14-15th (has a separate registration)
Join your Disaster Relief Team for Chaplaincy Training!

Come and meet our new State Indiana Chaplain, Craig Standish.

Jennifer Smith from Illinois will be our instructor. As a prerequisite, you will need to bring a letter from your pastor, Associational Missions Director, or Blue Cap leader to attend the Chaplain course.

Chaplaincy training will be starting on July 14th from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm and continue on July 15th from 8:00 am -3:00pm. New Life Baptist Church will provide church camping DR style, so bring your air mattress. Manuals will be furnished to each attendee. Please eat lunch before you come on Friday, and dinner will be on your own for Friday evening. Lunch will be provided on Saturday by New Life Baptist Church.
