Mission Adventure Camp (grades 3-6): Discover Life’s Amazing Adventure in the land down under! Like a boomerang we are returning to the value of life. From the tiniest, to the oldest, each person is made in the image of God- wonderfully designed to know him and live for him!

Brandon Matthews

Brandon is the pastor of HopeSpring Church, where he has served since 2005. Before serving as a senior pastor he spent almost 20 years in student ministry. It’s because of that time that he still gets excited when given the opportunity to speak into the lives of young people. Which he does often at schools, churches, camps, special events, and through training new generations of youth leaders. Brandon married his high school sweetheart and they have 3 incredible kids. “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” -Psalm 71:18

MAC Camp Music Leader

Kevin Myers

A graduate of Judson University, Myers studied Worship Arts while leading worship on campus through the Chapel ministry and on staff at a local Elgin, IL church. Myers also spent 2 summers working with students and leading worship with Next Steps Ministries. Kevin’s style of leading worship is to help get your whole self engaged, from jumping around and singing at the top of your lungs and celebrate together, to providing space to sit and reflect on the Goodness of God. His desire is to help people worship in the midst of their story, no matter what that has been entering into the worship space. He has been influenced by songwriters like John Mark McMillan, David Crowder, Rich Mullins, Maverick City, and Kings Kaleidoscope, and he cannot wait to come back to Highland Lakes to lead at Mission Adventure Camp!
