Speaker Spotlight

Dee Dee Williams, PhD

DeeDee Williams brings over 20 years of ministry experience as a girl’s minister at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, TX, and contributing devotionals to the Psalms and Proverbs Devotional for Women. She has written and taught Bible studies in various churches and supported her husband as a pastor’s wife. DeeDee has also taught the Historical Books and Minor Prophets for the LifeWay Women’s Academy, spearheaded by Jen Wilkin. She is an adjunct professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Thrive Instructor in the NOBTS Ministry Wives Certificate Program.

In her pursuit of equipping herself to serve the church better, DeeDee earned a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a PhD in Biblical Theology.

DeeDee is married to Andrew Williams and has three children: Kenzie (15), Wyatt (11), and Maddie (9). She has served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife for over a decade. She and her family reside in New Orleans, where her husband works as the Associate Divisional Dean of Christian Ministries and is the Assistant Professor of Expository Preaching for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. They are thrilled to be a part of what God is doing on the campus and to be involved in the students’ lives as they pursue God’s calling through theological education.

Above all, DeeDee seeks to be a disciple of Christ and is passionate about fostering Bible literacy. She believes theological education should equip and empower the local church to bear fruit for God’s Kingdom.
