Learn how to live in the Spirit. Unleash your inner warrior and be an Overcomer of sin and the temptations of self and this world. Be free from the chains and captivity of anger, bitterness, resentment, obstacles, worries, anxieties, pride, guilt, shame… Discover what it means to be a follower of Christ; to break those chains and overcome those obstacles through faith in Jesus and to live with hope for your future.

 

CAMP PASTOR WEEK 2

SCOOTER KELLUM

Scooter Kellum has a passion for engaging the next generation to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. He is SCBI’s Team Leader for Church and Leader Mobilization and has previously served as Alabama State Board of Missions Youth Ministry Strategist. He has worked with youth and college students all over the U.S. by serving in churches, speaking at summer camps, and leading the next generation ministries here at SCBI.
 
Scooter graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009 and received a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in 2015 and is currently working towards his Doctorate of Education at NOBTS. He and his wife, Chelsea, are originally from Mississippi and have four beautiful children: Tripp, Will, Abi-Lyn and Larkin. They have also been foster parents since 2018. He is a dedicated father and husband. Scooter looks for any occasion to celebrate and strives to enjoy life to the fullest.

Worship Leader Week 2

Jake BROTHERS

A graduate of Anderson University, Brothers studied Music Business while leading worship for Campus Crusade for Christ and Open Door ministry. Brothers also traveled the Midwest with a band and sparked interest in performing. Jake’s music style reveals his passion to worship the one true God in a fresh way. With influences of hymns, pop and artists like Chris Tomlin and David Crowder Band, Brothers’ music is noted for its true lyrics that are easy to sing and easily get stuck in your head. Brothers’ has led worship at Student Fusion since 2010!
